I went on a walk today. It was refreshing. I came across some beautiful sights. A tree up close. The sky. Birds.
Life is good. Things that matter so much between the four walls become meaningless and unnecessary once you step out.
They don’t disappear. No.
They become quiet. Quietly humming. Like my grandma’s fridge in my childhood. You just learn to live with it.
The mind puts those thoughts on a back burner. Quietly brewing it to serve you later at night. But it doesn’t matter. At least not when I’m in nature. Not when I see trees and flowers.
I used to live in a relatively poor area up until two years ago. Poor in a way that the roads were broken. Nature was non-existent. I had a small balcony, which served as a place to hang my wet clothes. I didn’t appreciate nature back then. I didn’t understand the hype of it.
Now that I’m living in a suburban area, there’s lots of nature. I go on walks. On the roads. Not in some park or a dedicated place to walk. There’s a tree outside my bedroom window. I haven’t romanticised it enough.
Anyways, here’s a picture of a tree up close. And some other pictures.
