A little chaos is good

Is a little chaos actually good for us?

A little chaos is good for me, personally speaking. I don’t know about you all.

When I’m constantly at peace, my brain gets bored (?). It comes up with bizarre thoughts and delusions, making me anxious. Is that like a trauma response?

When I’m in a chaotic phase. A couple days. A chaotic weekend (I pray to God its never more than that), I appreciate quiet days more. I let peace fill me without investigating it.

I think chaos makes me appreciate peace more than just plain old peace. Because like why am I relaxing for no reason. I know one shouldn’t think like that but oh well.

But for me, chaos has to be measured. It should come with a time limit or a deadline that’s close enough to keep me going. No one wants to struggle years on end and then get some few years of peace in the end. I’m not that courageous. God forbid, it can turn me into a hater if I’m being honest.

So yeah, no hard science. Sometimes chaos comes in a form of a blessing to change the course of your plans, often for good. But if you’re not even a little bit religious then I can’t console you, my bad.
